What is sign language?
Sign language is a visual language that uses hand shapes, gestures, body language and facial expression. It is used by people who are deaf. They can't hear and a lot of times can't speak clearly so they use sign language to communicate. Sign language is one of the earliest and most basic forms of human communication. We use it daily to point to something or the wave 'hi'.
A form of sign language is also used by people who don't speak the same language, but want to explaing things to each other so they use signs and hand gestures to make the other person understand.
